Vacation destinations are getting more and more exotic and before long, travelers may be able to cross space off their bucket list. The first of its kind, the Galaxsea Space Hotel imagines a 3,052-foot, 3D-printed solar boat that sails above Earth like a cosmic cruise ship. The vessel will be made from asteroid materials and feature an exoskeleton similar to a honeycomb or seashell. While on-board, the 15,000 guests would be able to spend time in the botanic gardens, biology research center, opera house, Un-Gravity Ballroom, and swimming through the emptiness in the Void Pools. Of course, the views will be out of this world.
