Most car makers choose a compact base for their first foray into all-electric vehicles. The Genesis Essentia GT Concept instead takes the Korean manufacturer into supercar territory. Underneath its carbon-fiber monocoque lies a multi-motor electric powertrain capable of propelling the grand tourer from 0-60 in just three seconds. Its classic, elongated proportions are augmented by a transparent hood that exposes the suspension and flows seamlessly into the roof, and by butterfly doors that ease ingress to the chevron-quilted leather seats and sleek interior.

It employs two types of Zoom cushioning — a high-stack ZoomX foam midsole that encourages a smooth transition and Air Zoom units in the forefoot for an energy return boost. A wide, full-length carbon fiber Flyplate improves forward propulsion, and the breathable Atomknit 3.0 upper is paired with a lacing system designed with racer input to enhance comfort.
