Genesis GV80 SUV

Genesis' sedan-only lineup is getting a much-needed new member — the GV80 SUV. The three-row SUV has serious luxury credentials and a unique design that makes it stand out in the current sea of crossovers. The rear-wheel-drive proportions are accented with crisp lines over the rear wheels and front fenders, with the long line from the A-pillar to the hood blending into the large shield grille and narrow quad headlamp arrangement. The result is striking, even among the top tier of SUVs like those from Germany and even Britain. While the styling makes it worth checking out the GV80, the interior picks up where the exterior leaves off. A 14.5-inch touchscreen dominates the dash, while real wood and quilted, French-stitched leather cover every touchable surface. 10 airbags, including one between the front passengers, and ambient lighting are also included. A new twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 and a 290-horsepower turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder are confirmed for North America, along with all-wheel and rear-wheel-drive models. Expect the GV80 to hit dealers later in 2020.
