Genesis Neolun Concept

Genesis gave a look at what could be its first full-size electric SUV with the Neolun concept. Unveiled at Genesis House New York, the Neolun's minimalist design was inspired by Korea's moon-shaped porcelain jars. Paired down to the essentials, Genesis' trademark shield grille opening is replaced with an LED outline that wraps around the front fenders. The soft-square shape is straight and clean, with the rear taillight treatment composed of LED strips to two parallel lines. A B-pillarless door system allows for unimpeded access to the interior, with electric side steps that lead into front seats that can swivel to face the rear passengers. Throughout the cabin are innovations like flexible displays and heating films that are more efficient than traditional automotive HVAC systems. Genesis didn't specify whether the Neolun would enter production, but elements of the concept are sure to find their way into future Genesis vehicles.
