British sports car manufacturer Ginetta has been operating since 1958, making everything from kits to turnkey mid-engine cars that could compete with the best in Europe for a very affordable price. Their latest effort is a front-engined supercar powered by an in-house 6.0-liter V8 making over 600 horsepower. This makes the Ginetta good for over 200 MPH, with radical carbon fiber bodywork designed to produce massive downforce. The chassis is a carbon fiber tub and helps the entire car weigh just over 2,500 pounds, giving it an insane power-to-weight ratio of 545 horsepower per ton. The billet-block V8 drives a custom six-speed sequential transmission that promises lightning-fast shifts. Despite all the hardcore racing technology, Ginetta promises an interior trimmed in Alcantara with plenty of creature comforts. The car will have a full unveiling at the 2019 Geneva Auto Show.
