Good Movies as Old Books

Many of our favorite films began as books. Illustrator Matt Stevens is flipping that script with this project which has him designing retro-style book art that is inspired by his favorite movies. Stevens started the project to break out of a creative funk and experiment with new mediums and techniques and has had a huge response to the work online. Due to demand, he's finishing a high-end hardcover book that will showcase 100 of the high-quality giclee prints on archival paper. The now-funded Kickstarter offers several reward levels and will be taking pre-orders until the end of the week.
