Grounded G2 Electric Campervan
The Grounded G1 introduced electric campervan's to the world. Based on the Ford E-Transit, the G1 was a big step forward for zero-emissions campers but suffered from a lack of range. Grounded's next-generation G2 electric RV aims to solve that, using the GM BrightDrop Zevo 600 platform that's bigger, offers more customization, and gets 250 miles on a full charge. Moving to the BrightDrop platform nets a 165kWh battery that can be augmented with 640W of rooftop solar panels and a 10kWh accessory battery that can be charged from the main vehicle battery. Flexibility is also massively improved, with a floor plan that can be nearly infinitely configured to the client's needs. Other options include Starlink connectivity, indoor shower and wet bath, and induction cooktops. Deliveries begin next month.
