Habitas Namibia

Just 45 minutes from Windhoek Airport, Habitas Namibia sits on a 50,000 hectare nature reserve. The safari lodge offers a private 10-person villa for groups to experience the bush together as well as 15 low-impact suites. Situated along a ridge, each room overlooks the expansive savannah providing views of roaming rhinos and giraffes from their private decks. Inside, natural materials and native decor create luxurious retreats integrated into the surrounding vegetation. While there are daily safari drives and nature walks led by local San tribesmen, the resort is about more than just catching a glimpse of the exotic wildlife. Habitas aims to immerse guest in the environment with live music, cooking workshops, yoga, and an outdoor cinema showing educational documentaries. There's also a restaurant helmed by two-time Namibian chef-of-the-year David Thomas, a pool, and fire pits for late-night gatherings under the stars.
