Highland Storm Amored Amphibious MPV

Don't look for Highland System's Storm on a lot near you — the UAE-based company specializes in military vehicles, and the Storm is being developed for the British armed forces. The Storm is a hybrid amphibious vehicle designed to carry troops and equipment over any terrain, or lack thereof. Riding on tank treads with 20 inches of ground clearance, the Storm can climb up to a 75% grade and hit 85 MPH thanks to a 2,5000 horsepower powertrain. Time in the field is up to 36 hours, and the armor plating can resist high-caliber projectiles and IEDs. The Storm can also be remotely controlled and has limited autonomous capability if the mission is deemed too dangerous.
