Famed automaker Hispano Suiza is introducing its first production car since 1946 at the 2019 Geneva Auto Show. Named "Carmen" after the granddaughter of the founder, the new model will be an all-electric hypercar based around a carbon fiber monocoque chassis. The design recalls the 1938 Dubonnet Xenia (pictured above), a beautiful, futuristic car commissioned by French pilot André Dubonnet and built by Hispano Suiza. The powertrain comes from QEV Technologies, a company that works with Formula E teams and other manufacturers. The silhouette photograph shows lines that mimic the Dubonnet Xenia, but details are scarce until the car is revealed in Geneva. Expect to hear a lot more when the Geneva show starts March 7, 2019.
