Honus Wagner's Baseball HOF Induction Watch

Legendary infielder Honus Wagner was one of the inaugural members of the baseball Hall of Fame, entering in with fellow immortals Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, and Babe Ruth. While technically a part of the class of 1936, Wagner received this Gruen Curvex on June 12, 1939 at the Hall's grand opening. It's one of just eleven such examples, one for each living player who attended the event. Considered one of the three most desirable — alongside Cobb's and Ruth's — it carries an inscription on the caseback that reads "Presented to Honus Wagner, Member of The Hall of Fame, Baseball Centennial, 1839-1939." While the hand-wound movement appears to still work, the watch likely needs servicing, but it remains a highly rare piece of baseball memorabilia regardless.
