Infiniti QX Inspiration Concept SUV
Infiniti is showing off a preview of its future all-electric offerings with the QX Inspiration concept unveiled at the 2019 North American International Auto Show. The QX Inspiration completely revamps the company's design language and builds on the previous Q sedan concept, sporting bodywork with clean lines and subtle creases that recall origami. The interior features a minimalist design heavily influenced by Japanese architecture, based around the concept of Ma — focusing on lines and the spaces between, letting the viewer's eye fill in the details itself. The electric drivetrain allows for a flat floor in the passenger area, maximizing space, and the roof is made of slats of Japanese red cedar for a spectacular view of the sky above. While Infiniti and parent company Nissan's EVs won't be entering production for a while, the QX concept points toward a sleek future for the manufacturer's vehicles.
