Jaguar Type 00 Concept EV

There's a rebranding underway at Jaguar. Advertisements aside, Jaguar previewed what's in store for its all-electric future with the Type 00 concept. The name refers to Jaguar's past— the E-Type — and its future as a maker of zero-emissions vehicles. The Type 00's design is classic Jaguar with an extremely long hood and short fastback profile. At the front is an upright grille with thin LED headlights positioned at the edges to enhance the width and "Jaguar" in a custom Jaguar Exhuberance font. Inside, the very minimalist interior features three brass lines that envelop and separate passengers with flat panel displays that emerge from the dash. The Type 00 shows how Jaguar is repositioning itself as a limited-production luxury maker, leaving the mass market behind.
