Jekta PHA-ZE 100 Electric Seaplane

No airfield, no problem. While the glory days of seaplanes might have passed with Pan Am's Boeing 314, Swiss firm Jekta, in collaboration with Swiss Aeropole SA, is hoping to bring back the type. The PHA-ZE 100 is an electric seaplane designed for short-haul trips between islands and sightseeing. Seven configurations range from a 19-seat passenger layout to VIP business-class luxury, along with air ambulance and freight versions. Jekta is targeting a 100-mile range at 10,000 feet when the first deliveries start in 2028.
