Jimmy Red Single Farm 10th Anniversary Bonded Bourbon
Only two ears of Jimmy Red corn, a magenta-hued grain grown on James Island in South Carolina, remained after the last known grower passed away in 2013. After making a miraculous comeback, it serves as the base for High Wire Distilling's signature spirit. Jimmy Red 10th Anniversary is a special release, made from Jimmy Red corn grown at Plumfield farm in Darlington, SC, and distilled within one season. The resulting bourbon offers flavors of cherry, leather, coffee bean, char, and dark chocolate, with a finish of dried cacao and cinnamon. It's bottled at 50% ABV, following Bottled-in-Bond standards, and arrives in a stoneware bottle housed in a commemorative red box.
