Old Rip Van Winkle 25 Year Old Bourbon

Distilled in the Spring and Fall of 1989 at the legendary Stitzel-Weller distillery, Old Rip Van Winkle 25 Year Old is considered the "Pappy of Pappys" as the most desirable bottling the brand has ever produced. Limited to just 710 bottles, the 2014 release sold out immediately, but one example — number 479 — is now up for auction. Bottled at 50% ABV, it comes in a custom, numbered decanter with crystal stopper created by Glencairn, and arrives in a wooden box partially made with oak staves from the barrels that once held it.
