Johnnie Walker Master's Cut Scotch Whisky
Former Master Blender Dr Jim Beveridge retired from Johnnie Walker in 2021, after over 40 years with the company. Before he left, he oversaw the blending of one last release, dubbed Master's Cut. To create it, Beveridge blended just two whiskies — a light Single Grain from one of their oldest distilleries in Camronbridge, and a bold Single Malt from the relatively young Roseisle distillery. The resulting blend is bright, pale gold, with scents of summer fruit and vanilla, base flavors of baked caramel and butterscotch, and a finish that mixes fruit and cherry blossom with seasoned oak. Only 1,000 bottles will be available to purchase at Johnnie Walker Princes Street in Edinburgh later this year, with the 40% ABV bottling making its way to selected markets after that.
