ギネスビール最初の8樽がアメリカのサウスカロライナ州に届いたのが今から200年前のこと。1817年に輸入されたスタウトと同じレシピからヒントを得て、ギネスから200周年を記念した特別ビールが発売された。ブラックパテントモルトとゴールディングホップを使い、ギネスの新商品開発を行っているダブリンのオープンゲートブリュワリーで醸造された特別なビールだ。
