実験を決して恐れないジェムソン。カスクメイツシリーズに第二作目がその良い例だ。シトラスの香りを樽に移すのにクラフトIPAを入れるため、地元のアイリッシュブリュワリーに渡していた樽を使用している。その後樽はジェムソンに返され、ジェムソンオリジナルを作るために再利用されたのである。その結果、キレとホップの香りのある、スムーズで3度蒸留したウイスキーに仕上がった。すっきりとした味わいで、ぜひお好みのIPAと合わせてもらいたい。
