元リンゴ園であった土地に、隠れるように佇む「ミルグローブ・ハウス」。自然なその地形を活かして、通りの面にはシンプルな石灰石を敷き、裏側は多層構造が広がっている。南側はほぼガラス張りで、太陽光や果樹園の地平線がインテリアに広がる。ダグラスファーの天井から亜鉛フレームの窓など、オーガニックな素材を使うことでインテリアはより周りの自然と溶け込むようだ。
