ジャングルと海の真ん中にあるオーシャン・アイ・ハウスは、コスタリカの風景を存分に活用したモジュラーデザインの家。テラスが連なる形の構造は折りたたみ式の木製のドアを取り付けることで、閉めて個室にすることも、開いて太平洋や熱帯雨林の眺望を楽しむこともできる。この開放的な作りは、風を多く取り入れることで自然のクーラーにもなっている。二階部分は一階に屋根付きパティオとしての役目もあり、メインリビングとしての一階部分は直接広いプールへ飛び込むこともできる。
