常にもっとも生産台数の多い人気車両のひとつであるホンダスーパーカブだが、カスタマイズされているものはあまり見る機会が多くない。今回、上海カスタムがそれを手がけ、しかもスーパーカブを使うだけではない。1,000ワットの電気モーターとリチウムイオンバッテリーパックをリアハブに入れたeCub2は、航続距離40km、最高時速は焼く48km/時と街乗りには最適な一台。現在完成品として入手でき、上海カスタムから今年後半、スーパーカブコンバージョンキットが登場する予定だ。
