中国のスキーリゾートにある「松花湖 スキーオーバールック」は、自然のままの風景を前面に出している。コンクリートベースの坂の上に建っており、外気にさらされたスギのこけら板の外壁は、夏はミズナラの森に溶け込み、冬は雪化粧の中でひときわ目を引く。中へ一歩入ると、スギ材で敷き詰められたインテリアに備え付けられたベンチが温かみを醸し出している。景色に向かって三角形に開かれ、天井や床に付けられた丸窓からは周りに山々や湖、森が新しい切り口から楽しめる。
