巨石をそのままに残して建てられた「トラッキー・クリーク・ハウス」。カリフォルニアの岩山にあるこの家は、この自然あふれる土地を活かし建てられている。外観には、コンクリートと鉄を合わせた外壁を使い、周りにある岩々や常緑樹の森に溶け込んだ色合いとなっている。同じような素材はインテリアにも使われ、元から存在する岩がまるでアートのように窓から見ることができる。ありのままの風景に加えられた石庭は、禅の雰囲気を醸し出している。
