Karma Gyesera EV
Karma Automotive, the company that emerged from the 2013 bankruptcy of Fisker Automotive, has introduced its first four-door EV. The Gyesera is the latest evolution of the 2011 Fisker Karma, and even with all-new bodywork, the resemblance to the Fisker is strong. Powertrain details were limited, with Karma promising 250 miles of range from a 120kWh battery with a weight of 5300 pounds. The electric powertrain makes a total of 590 horsepower and 693 lb-ft of torque, good for a 0-60 sprint of 4.2 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 135 MPH. Production of the Gyesera will be limited to around 2000 units over a four or five-year run. Sales should begin at the end of 2024.
