Kawasaki's Elektrode electric balance bike is aiming to get the youngest two-wheeled enthusiasts on Team Green. The Elektrode is a clean-sheet design, with an aluminum chassis and steel 28.8mm fork, a hard tail, and 16-inch wheels. Power comes from an air-cooled brushless in-wheel motor with three power modes — 5 MPH, 7.5 MPH and 15 MPH. A sealed frame-mounted 250-watt, 36-volt Lithium-ion battery provides up to 150 minutes of riding time and charges to full in 2.5 hours. The Elektrode weighs 32 pounds and supports riders up to 99 pounds and comes in Kawasaki's classic green livery.
