Klipsch x Ojas kO-R2 Loudspeaker

It's been eighty years since founder Paul Klipsch built his first speaker in a tin shed in Arkansas, and the brand is marking the milestone with its most design-forward collaboration yet. Built with Devon Turnbull of Ojas, the kO-R2 is a two-way loudspeaker with the kind of handbuilt horn geometry that serious audio collectors spend years hunting down. The centerpiece is the Ojas 1506 multisectoral horn, cast from heavy aluminum and finished with electrophoresis and flat black powder coat, drawing from the multisectoral geometry of classic Western Electric and Altec designs to deliver even frequency distribution across both horizontal and vertical planes. Baltic birch cabinetry encases the high-end compression driver, a five-step high-frequency gain attenuator, anodized aluminum binding posts, anti-vibration rubber feet, and a laser-engraved metal ID plate. Every pair is handcrafted in Hope, Arkansas where it all began. Limited to 600 pairs worldwide in Red Oak veneer or Hammertone Silver.
