KM5 CP1 CD Player
Part gadget, part decor, the CP1 CD player from Japanese brand KM5 celebrates the physical format. The player itself is a white rectangle, with physical controls on the top edge, an LED display in the lower corner, and a large window that allows for views of the spinning disc or can be used to display the jacket art. As a result, it looks not unlike a Polaroid photo. Bluetooth 5.0 lets it work with both modern speakers and earphones, the rechargeable battery lasts for up to 8 hours per charge, and optional attachments let it hang on the wall, reinforcing its gadget-as-art ethos.
