Koda Light Float House
Forget waterfront cabins. The Koda Light Float House gets you on the surface of your favorite lake, harbor, or canal. Combining a tiny home and a houseboat, the zinc-clad dwelling sits on a foundation of floating pontoons. A walkway attaches the structure to the shore, leading to an expansive, wrap-around terrace. Its interior is surprisingly spacious, featuring double-height ceilings, an open living space, kitchen, and a lofted sleeping area. The decor is kept sleek and minimal to allow for a multi-functional space while glazing highlights the maritime scenery. Although the house isn't mobile itself, it can be towed to different locations by boat.
