Lamborghini Urus SE Performante

Lamborghini's new Urus SE Performante borrows a signature move from the Countach, the wedge-shaped icon that built the brand: hexagonal shapes worked into the new rear bodywork. That's the throwback. The forward-looking part is a plug-in hybrid system that pushes output to 812 combined horsepower, 146 more than the outgoing V8-only Performante, yet somehow reaches 62 mph in the exact same 3.3 seconds. The added weight of a hybrid powertrain ate the extra power, so Lamborghini cut weight everywhere else it could, trimming 70 pounds off the standard Urus SE with a lighter body and a new titanium exhaust co-developed with Akrapovič. A new Rally mode joins the lineup too, running on the same 6D sensor and brake system Lamborghini first built for its limited-run Fenomeno hypercar.
