Land Rover Defender Flying Huntsman II SUV

The Land Rover Defender is an all-time classic and a massively popular platform for customization. Eventually, you'd think that people would start running out of ideas, but prolific designer Afzal Kahn keeps coming up with completely new takes on Defender styling. Starting with a Defender 90, the wheelbase is stretched eight inches ahead of the A-pillar, giving the SUV a totally new stance. A new front end treatment pays tribute to the Mk II and incorporates boxy fender flares that are open-ended. Rear fender flares continue the lines from the front, and house Heritage steel wheels and larger Cooper offroad tires. The interior is covered in custom-stitched leather all the way up to the soft top, and machined gearshift and transfer case levers and pedals complete the utilitarian look. With its combination of classic style and modern mechanicals, the Defender Flying Huntsman is one of the most eye-catching custom Land Rovers we've seen.
