Lexus LF-1 Limitless Concept
Two decades after the release of the first RX, Lexus is reimagining its flagship crossover in the LF-1 Limitless. Created by Toyota's Calty design lab in California, the exterior blends smooth, organic shapes with katana-like sharp edges. It also has a spindle grille, connecting it to current models, 22-inch wheels, a rear-wheel drive chassis, and LED lighting to replace traditional chrome. Inside, the cabin is penned with an eye to the future, with many physical controls being replaced by screens and motion-based gestures. Notably, it has a Chauffeur mode that provides hands-free operation, and an engaging sports mode that moves all controls — including acceleration and reverse — to the steering wheel for a video game-like driving experience.
