Lexus is making minivans — with a suitably luxurious touch. The LM is the Lexus-badged version of Toyota's Asian market Alphard minivan, with one important difference — it's meant to be chauffeur driven. Driver's and passenger's compartments are completely separated, with an entertainment system with 48-inch TV and 23-speaker Mark Levinson audio system built into the bulkhead between the two spaces. Four or seven-passenger layouts are available, with the four-passenger version featuring executive-style seating, a refrigerator, thermal sensors that control temperature and direct airflow, and seats that counteract the swaying of the vehicle. The LM is expected to launch in 2024.
