Lister SUV-E Concept

Lister is taking on Jaguar's I-Pace electric SUV for its next model, the LIster SUV-E. Shown here in concept form, Lister is adding its trademark weight reduction and tuning mods to give the SUV-E a notable bump in performance over the base I-Pace. Tuning electric vehicles is a brave new world, but thanks to tinkering with the I-Pace's software, Lister claims a half-second better 0-60 time, thanks to increased horsepower from the electric motors. Even better is the over 200 pounds they took off the I-Pace's weight with extensive use of carbon fiber panels. Lister also adds carbon-ceramic brakes and titanium forged wheels, reducing unsprung weight and helping acceleration and handling. Another notable upgrade is what Lister refers to as improved exhaust sounds, but what this means on an electric vehicle remains to be seen.
