Marc Philipp Gemballa Marisen 911 Safari
Marc Phillip Gemballa, son of Porsche tuner Uwe Gemballa, has released the long-awaited Marisen, a modern-day interpretation of the legendary Porsche 959. Based on the 992 Turbo S, the Marisen features two suspension modes — an off-road setting with 9.8 inches of ground clearance, or a street setting with 4.7 inches. KW Automotive designed a completely new suspension to handle the dual-duty design, with active dampers and new front wishbones and a multi-link rear setup. RUF handled engine tuning, bringing power to 740 horsepower and over 800 with optional variable geometry turbochargers. Akrapovič provides a titanium exhaust specifically for the Marisen. The carbon fiber-bodied supercar will have a production run of 40 units, with half of those already spoken for.
