2022 Ferrari 296 GTB

With an all-electric future on the horizon, the days of screaming V12s will become a part of Ferrari's past. The gang at Maranello is hinting at what is to come with the new 296 GTB, featuring the Italian makers' first production V6 since the '70s mated to a hybrid electric system. Based on the F8 Tributo, the 296 GTB has a 2.9-liter turbocharged V6 making 654 horsepower. A 164 horsepower electric motor is mounted between the V6 and eight-speed gearbox, combining for 819 horsepower — enough for a 0-60 sprint of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 205 MPH. From the outside, the 296 GTB takes styling cues from the SF90 hybrid and the classic 250 LM. The 296 GTB will arrive in Europe in early 2022 and the US later that year.
