Mercedes-AMG SL 63 S E Performance
The most powerful SL ever arrives with the AMG SL 63 S E Performance. AMG's 4.0-liter V8 is paired with an electric motor to produce 805 horsepower and 1,047 lb-ft of torque, pushing the car from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. To harness that power, the SL 63 S E Performance comes with fully variable all-wheel-drive, rear-wheel steering, and an F1-style composite braking system. Mercedes mounted the electric motor at the rear, aiding weight balance, with a liquid cooling system for the 400-volt battery. Outside, the SL 63 gets new alloy wheels and badging, with the interior wrapped in leather and contrast stitching. The SL 63 S E Performance arrives at US dealers in 2024.
