Michael Jordan's 'Flu Game' Signed Air Jordan 12 Sneakers

Michael Jordan played dozens of memorable games throughout his career. Among his Finals performances the "Flu Game" is perhaps the most memorable. Game 5 of the 1997 Finals saw His Airness woozy, dehydrated, and, in one iconic moment, leaning heavily on Scottie Pippen for support. Jordan nevertheless found a way to win, scoring 38 points and racking up 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals, catapulting his Bulls to a second straight championship and his fifth overall. He signed the shoes he wore that game — black and red Air Jordan 12s — and gifted them to Utah Jazz ball boy Preston Truman, who made sure to always have his preferred after-game snack of applesauce ready to go when the buzzer sounded. Accompanied by a LOA from Truman, complete with a photo showing MJ signing the shoes before he handed them over, they've also been photo-matched by MeiGray and Sports Investors Authentication, and are expected to challenge the record for most expensive shoes ever sold.
