Mojo Vision Smart Contact Lens

Many insiders expect mainstream AR glasses to arrive within a year or so. Mojo Vision is aiming to skip them altogether by embedding a 14,000 ppi display in a contact lens. Shown in prototype form at CES, the hard scleral lens would show context-sensitive notifications and information without the need to look at a device. Developed by a team of optometrists, medical experts, and technologists, the device would initially be available to those with sight disabilities, before being made available to consumers at large.
