Morgan Super 3 Speedster
The most fun you can have on three wheels is back in the USA with the Morgan Super 3 Speedster. Morgan's three-wheeled vehicles date back to the company's founding in 1910, and still use hand construction and wood frames to mount the body panels. In place of the traditional Morgan v-twin, the Super 3 Speedster uses a naturally-aspirated Ford 1.5-liter inline-three making 118 horsepower and 110 lb-ft of torque mated to a 5-speed manual transmission sourced from the Mazda Miata. A top speed of 130 MPH and a 0-60 time of 7 seconds won't win the local drag race, but raw numbers can't quantify the open-air feel the Super 3 provides. Styling is decidedly retro, recalling streamlined vehicles from the '20s and '30s, with individual windscreens and roll hoops. The Super 3 Speedster is available now through Morgan's US dealer network.
