NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund
An offshoot of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People established by Thurgood Marshall, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund uses litigation, advocacy, and public education to fight for racial justice and equality. In the midst of the BlackLivesMatter movement, and in the face of threats to much of the progress that has been made on the civil rights front over the past half-century, their cause is as worthwhile as ever. A donation helps to fund their battle for structural changes that fulfill the promise of equality for all Americans.
