NASA Motorcycle Concept

With NASA and other space agencies making long-range plans to establish permanent settlements on the Moon, the idea of a space motorcycle might be in the realm of possibility. Designer Andrew Fabishevskiy is ready if the time comes with his NASA motorcycle concept, a simple, lightweight electric bike made for the rigors of off-world travel. The frame is a simple trellis type that houses the battery in a reflective material, similar to that seen on the ISS and the original moon landers. Hub-mounted motors drive both the front and rear wheels, while steering is accomplished with low-mounted handlebars. For more of Fabishevskiy's work, check out his Behance page linked below.
