NASA X-59 QueSST Supersonic Jet

A few days ago, NASA's X-59 QueSST aircraft arrived at the Lockheed Martin Skunk Works in Palmdale, California. The move means the supersonic jet is ready for ground tests to ensure safety before its first flight. The revolutionary aircraft is built to fly faster than Mach 1 while minimizing the boom, so it sounds more like a thump to those on the ground. Dubbed the Quesst mission, if the results are successful, this could open the doors for commercial supersonic air travel in the near future.
