New Balance Black Gold 990v5 Sneakers
New Balance's 990 quickly became the gold-standard running shoe when it debuted in 1982. Forty years later, it's still in production, with the fifth generation not changing much from the original. Designed by a team of Black NB associates, this special-edition colorway celebrates Black culture, with gold accents giving the black suede and mesh upper a pop of color. Otherwise, it's much the same as other 990 releases, with an Ortholite insert for comfort, ENCAP midsole cushioning, a supportive polyurethane rim, and a TPU power strap.
