Prior to his untimely passing last November, Louis Vuitton creative director Virgil Abloh created a series of Nike Air Force 1 sneakers, celebrating its status as a cultural symbol via bespoke luxury versions. Now the French Maison is bringing some of them to market. Prior to pre-orders opening to select LV customers in June, 47 editions of Abloh's AF1 will be on exhibit at New York City's Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse. Later this summer, nine of the editions will go on sale to the public at Louis Vuitton boutiques. The first time the iconic shoe has been crafted outside of a Nike factory, they're sure to be in high demand.
