Nike SB Sandy ZoomX Bruin Sneaker

You can't talk about Nike SB without mentioning Sandy Bodecker. The legendary designer pioneered the brand's skateboarding division, and with the sport's recent inclusion in the Tokyo Olympics, it's only fitting that the Swoosh pays him tribute. The Nike SB Sandy ZoomX Bruin honors the late visionary by merging two of his passions — skateboarding and his desire to break the two-hour marathon barrier — into one shoe. The sneaker is based on the classic Bruin silhouette and adds a drop-in midsole that combines ZoomX foam for cushioning and a carbon fiber plate. Its multi-colored knit upper is custom-printed with a portrait of Sandy by Mark Smith that hangs in Portland's Bodecker Foundation. The Nike SB Sandy ZoomX Bruin will be released in limited quantities this summer in Tokyo.
