Nissan NV300 Workshop Concept Van
The adventure van has seen an explosion in popularity, making city vans like the Mercedes Sprinter and other similar models the go-to platform for hitting the great outdoors. But vans also work, and Nissan's NV300 concept puts an entire woodworking shop on the road. Collaborating with British design firm Studio Hardie, Nissan transformed the cargo area into a fully-functioning shop. The wood floor features an embedded steel track that allows a stool to roll from front to rear, giving easy access to wall-mounted tools and storage. A lightweight, modular system of bins is also removable for on-site setup, and the NV300 is equipped with Nissan's Energy ROAM — a rechargeable 700 Wh battery pack that provides silent, emissions-free power anywhere. When the possibility exists to make your job this mobile, every workday can feel like an adventure.
