Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: A Novel
Quentin Tarantino spent five years researching and writing the script for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. This resulted in all sorts of unused material, which the director is now using to flesh out Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: A Novel. Far from a simple novelization of the film, it fleshes out the main character's stories in a rewarding way, with particular focus on Cliff Booth's backstory, as flashback chapters starring the character serve as standalone stories. It arrives in paperback on June 29.
