Handmade by early Nike employee Geoff Hollister using Bill Bowerman's design, these original Nike Moon Shoes are among just a small number known to exist. On the bottom, they sport a two-piece waffle sole, the brand's first big innovation, while the black Swoosh on the side was hand-sewn with fishing line. This particular pair came from Tom McChesney, a runner at South Eugene High School, Oregon, and is in surprisingly good condition given its age.
