Porsche Taycan Turbo GT EV
The most powerful production Porsche of all time has arrived with the Taycan Turbo GT. While the tradeoff is a complete lack of turbo whooshes and flat-six howl, drivers will get 1,019 horsepower, 988 lb-ft of torque, and a 0-60 MPH time of 2.1 seconds — and the potential to set EV track records at Laguna Seca and the Nurburgring. Those records were set by the Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach package, which adds improved aerodynamics and drops 157 pounds versus the Turbo S. With or without the Weissach package, the Turbo GT makes a continuous 777 horsepower by combining a more powerful rear motor with the same motor found in the Turbo S. Both Turbo GT models also use the same 96 kWh battery as the Turbo S with a range of 340 miles. The Turbo GT and Turbo GT Weissach are available now.
